Leaky Diapers

I don't know where my friend finds these great photos that she keeps forwarding me:

P.S. - That baby is really pulling on that man's ears, looks painful. At least they're in the desert and the leaky diaper could cool him off but the ears......OMG!

Our worst leaky diaper situation was at a wedding. Lily was only 15 months old. All the family were taking turns holding her and suddenly her diaper leaked on the maid of honor. She put Lily down and then we saw it! The stain! Right on the front of her dress. I didn't say a word and neither did anyone else. Luckily, she didn't even notice (she was a little drunk) until it had dried into a phantom stain.

What's your worst leaky diaper story? Let us know, we've all been there my friend.

The picture is funny but the look on the baby's face is even funnier.

are you serious? you would let someone walk around in public fully aware that they have a URINE stain on their dress and NOT tell them?

funny picture lol. Our worst was a couple years ago. We were at Red Lobster, celebrating my birthday. 1/2way through dinner, my brother asks me if my daugher (18 months at the time) spilled her cup, b/c something was dripping down his leg (he was wearing shorts). Well, her cup was still on the table, but when we checked her, we noticed she was sitting in a puddle and it was dripping out of the high chair onto the floor and yes, my brother. And it gets worse. It wasn't #1...it was #2. To avoid making an even bigger mess, my mother and I had to lift her in the highchair and carry the whole chair into the ladies room to start the cleaning process.

Talk about a stinky mess...

Mine is a diaper explosion story. We were at a morning tea and my friend was bouncing her friend's little boy on her knee. Something must have given way in the diaper, because all of a sudden she was COVERED in poop. The interesting thing was all the mums in the room evacuated, while the non mums were the only ones who stayed to help clean up!

LOL about the Red Lobster #2. Mine was when i was working at a child development center and this girl had a stomach virus but mom couldn't get time off. She was almost 3 at the time and still wearing pull ups. She came to me and said I need to go potty, but the room leaders whouldn't let me take her. So i pulled her around in the plastic wagon and i walked away to go do something and she sat there. I went over to check on her and she had pooped and it was SO much and so runny that it filled her pull up and ran over the top onto her jeans and shirt. I didn't care what the room leaders said i walked her back inside to change her. On the walk over there it had run down her leg and into her shoes. It was also in the wagon and since it was somehow MY fault i had to clean it up. She luckily went home shortly after. I quit a few weeks after. It was pretty bad.

My youngest two and I were on a road trip and we stoped at a Carbarras. My darling daughter who was somewhere around a year old suddenly had a stomach upset. It leaked all over the highchair and her. I was mortified. Luckily we were close to the door and had given our order. I took the leaky monkey to the car to clean up and my husband got the food to go. So Carbarras in Tulsa I give my biggest appoligy ever!!! LOVE YOU.

When my first daughter was 9 months old we where arriving at my sisters wedding. I was in the back seat with my daughter and she was grunting, so i was paying close attention. With a pretty full diaper the diarrhea did not stand a chance of staying in place. I watched it begin to ooze out of the sides of her bloomers soon to be a big mess all over her white dress. With no time to spare i stuck my hand under the runny pooh and caught it!! When we stopped the car, i hopped out and had to shake the pooh off my hands into the dirt. Gross . I know it, but it was the only option.

My 15 month old daughter, Hannah was sick with a virus, she had been having diarreah and we were on the way to the hospital to get her checked out. On the way, she pooped so bad, it came out her diaper, messed her clothing, went all over her carseat and down her leg! It was so nasty!
I had to change her in the car before we got into the hospital and carry her in with only a diaper on! It was the messiest thing I had ever seen!

I love all the stories! Thank you so much for taking the time to write them. I can totally relate to the stories of numbers 1 & 2 running into the shoes, I've had that happen too....to Lily not to me of course....at least not since I was in diapers!
