Is it
possible for a man and a woman to share parenting equally? According to a
recent article in the New York Times, 58 percent of women say the division of
labor in modern families is not fair to them.” Only 11 percent of men felt the
same way.
The article made me
wonder about my own marriage. I’m a dad, not a mom, and I like to think I share
the responsibilities as well as the joys of bringing up our 12-year-old and
keeping the house and home together. But when I really think about it, maybe
not.
It was just Father’s Day, so perhaps my wife gave me the benefit of the doubt on Sunday. We have a weekend cabin near a lake, and were getting ready to go home, a two-hour drive. It was getting late, and I wanted to sneak in one more swim.

Many parents choose bunk beds as a way to save money and space, and kids often find them a fun place to play and hopefully catch zzz's. While they may be a great way to deal with tight quarters, they may also be a trap for injuries if not installed and placed correctly.
