My dogs are a very important part of my life and I was a little worried that Liam and the dogs wouldn't get along, but it's never been a problem. They're happy dogs, and Liam's such a happy baby, so we've been lucky that they've never fought, and there hasn't been any bad energy between them. I hope it's the same with our next! I think that all mothers should be careful when bringing a baby into a house with pets, because you never know how they're going to react. I think it's probably better to introduce them to each other slowly, so they can get used to each other, instead of just putting them together and seeing what happens. You may not want to find out!
Liam and Mimi La Rue get along really well. Mimi has accepted him. I think it was hard for her at first. My attention, which was always mainly focused on her, was swayed and there was a new baby. She’s very tolerant, I have to say, because he is very interested in her and wants to touch her and pull her ears. He is very gentle for a baby, and she tolerates it.
As someone who is always in the public eye, the baby bump watch in
Being pregnant is a joy, and such an exciting time, so I'm happy to see soon-to-be celebrity moms flaunt it. As for celebs' baby names, I say, if they like it, they should go for it. Although Dean and I are more traditional, we think any name, if chosen with love, is the perfect one.

Celebrity or not, I'm just like every working mother out there: it's a constant challenge, and something's always going on! I do a few things to keep a balance between work and parenting.
The most important thing is lots of communication with Dean, and always finding time for Liam. Even on the busiest days, I have to find time to be with them. And when I'm truly crazed, Dean is always a big help. He's such a great dad, and he and Liam love each other so much. But really, as long as we keep each other in the know about our schedules and our hectic days, and everyone's willing to pitch in, we make it work.
I really try to stay in shape – especially when I’m pregnant. During my pregnancy, I did nothing special to stay fit except chase a one-year-old around. That is my exercise regime.
After Liam was born, it was definitely a shock for me having to get into shape. I had always been thin. I never had to diet or workout, so I guess I thought all that weight I accumulated during the pregnancy would just kind of disappear one day. Wrong! I had to go on a diet and I had to workout. And I did come off of it.
I think this time it will be different because I am prepared. I know that it’s going to be hard work. At first I was shocked, but when you’re carrying another person you have to realize that you won’t be a size two! This time I know I have to hit the ground running to get it off. And I’m ok with that because I want to be the best and healthiest mommy I can be.
Dean’s been very helpful too. He gives me a lot of positive feedback about my body. I love it when he tells me how beautiful and sexy I am – pregnant or not!

Our family is very committed to living a “green” lifestyle. In this day and age, it's more important than ever to “go green.” Dean and I try to be as environmentally friendly and as healthy as possible, especially when it comes to Liam. Also, most of the products we use around the house are environmentally safe.
It’s important for us to do everything we can to keep our bodies and our environment healthy. We think about the future and to what kind of world our children will be inheriting. Going Green isn’t just for us it’s for our kids’ and our kids’ kids.

As a wife and mother it's sometimes hard to find balance especially when you are also trying to balance a demanding career. The most important thing is finding a few moments every single day to reconnect with yourself. As a working mother, someone will want some of your time every second of every day. But if you don't get a little time to yourself, what good will you be to anyone? I think it's different for everyone: some people do yoga, some take a bath, some work out in the gym, some get a manicure... but whatever you do, make sure you have time for it, so you don't feel guilty, or worse: more stressed out than before!
I love getting away from it all by cuddling up with Dean and watching a good movie especially horror or a really addictive Reality TV show. I love reality shows. Maybe it’s because we’re in the business or maybe because it’s nice to see other people airing their dirty laundry on national TV. Either way, I’m totally addicted! Not so much for Dean. He’s more into sports. Ice Hockey to be exact.
